You will gain a deep, machine-agnostic understanding of the entire DTF production workflow, from file optimization and RIP software setup to powdering, curing, and advanced heat press techniques.

The curriculum is structured into seven key modules:
- Industry & Safety: The scope of the custom apparel industry and critical workplace safety protocols regarding adhesive powders and VOCs during curing.
- Machine Anatomy & Maintenance: Detailed knowledge of DTF hardware (printheads, white ink circulation systems) and critical maintenance routines to prevent ink sedimentation.
- Software Mastery (RIP & Control): Hands-on simulation using InkRIP for mirroring, nesting, and white ink management, and PrintEXP for machine calibrations.
- Workflow & Pre-Press: Mastering the complete pipeline from file check (CMYK, 300 DPI, White Choke) to the final execution command, ensuring minimal film waste.
- Application Techniques: Practical knowledge of powder application, curing temperatures, and heat press settings (Time, Temp, Pressure) for various fabrics.
- Specialty Topics: Printing on diverse substrates (Cotton, Polyester, Blends) and using specialty finishes.
- Certification Preparation: Targeted quizzes and a full-length simulated practical assessment to prepare you for the official CDTPS exam.

Prerequisites

- DTF Equipment & Materials: Access to a functional DTF Printer, PET film, adhesive powder, a curing oven (or shaker), and a heat press is highly recommended for practical assignments.
